2. Recent News stories covered on air:
BLUETONGUE Our reporters were the first on the scene at Peterborough's Milton Estate to cover the outbreak of bluetongue disease in a ram there.
PACKAGE Roads in Peterborough were shut down by police and bomb disposal experts when a suspect package was found on Lincoln Road. Our reporter gave the latest information from the scene - local people described watching the bomb squad robots check the package out and destroy it. It turned out to be a harmless power drill.
ROADWORKS As an accumulation of roadworks in Peterborough city centre brought some roads in the city to a snail's pace in rush hour, we found lots of local people with a story to tell. One man from Whittlesey told us he would leave his wife and live with his mum for while because the queues of traffic were annoying him. Another man was moved to set up a petition on the 10 Downing Street website.

We are proud to support the Great Eastern Run, raising money for local and national charities. We promoted the Run, ran running tips on the lead up to it and then did commentary on the day with traffic updated every 15 minutes for the affected areas of the City that were closed off.
We support the Peterborough Festival which celebrates all the communities in Peterborough for a week each Summer. We promoted the event, provided coverage for all the events happening during the week and hosted the opening and closing weekends at Central Park and the Embankment.
We teamed up with Cancer Research UK to promote and host this years Race For Life. We encouraged women of all ages to come to Ferry Meadows and Burgley House to run for the charity and provided coverage on air to the Races and the runners.
